Football Betting » Arsenal v Liverpool - Premier League
Arsenal play host to Liverpool later today in this Premiership fixture, which can be seen Live on Sky Sports with a 7:45pm Kick Off Time.
Arsenal are pretty much at the point where another defeat would see any slim chance that remains of winning the Premiership Title go up in smoke and tonights game is a must win situation.
However, the Club is surely to be suffering from the latest two drubbings handed out to them by both Manchester United and more recently Chelsea and also the news in the past few days that inspirational midfield playmaker Cesc Fabregas has turned down an offer to renew his contract and looks destined to be playing for Barcelona come the new season.
Liverpool will no doubt head into this game with confidence at an all time high having gone five games without defeat and will have seen the way that the Arsenal defence has crumbled in their recent two defeats against United and Chelsea. Dirk Kuyt has been doing the business up front for the reds in recent games and will be relishing the chance to exploit the dodgy Arsenal defence in tonights game.
Arsenal Team News
Djourou, Van Persie and Gibbs are all out with long term injuries. Eduardo has a slight hamstring strain and is also unlikely to take any part in tonights game. Other than those listed Arsene Wenger has a full squad to choose from and it remains to be seen if Bendtner is selected to start up front instead of Rosicky.
Liverpool Team News
Torres is about a month away from returning to the starting lineup so Dirk Kuyt will be joined up front by Ngog. Denayoun has a rib injury and is out for another couple of weeks and full back Glen Johnson has ligament dammage and will be out for at least another 5 weeks.
Summary
The game looks to be very tight on paper and is a tough one to call, however Arsenal always play well at the Emirates with the crowd behind them and they look the more likely to come away from tonights game with the points.
