West Brom play host to Nottingham Forest later this evening in this Championship fixture, which can be seen Live on Sky Sports, with a 7:45pm Kick Off Time.

A massive game for both sides as West Brom look to close the gap on League leaders Newcastle above them, however Nottingham Forest will also be aware that a victory for them would take them above the baggies and into 2nd position.

The two sides have already met each other once already this Season, with West Brom coming away with all 3pts after a C.Cohen own goal on 53mins split the teams that day.

West Brom come into tonights game on a 3 game unbeaten run and have conceded just once in those 3 games played. Huddersfield were their latest victim in the FA Cup last weekend going down 2-0 at home with G.Dorrans and C.Wood both grabbing the goals late on in the game for the baggies.

Nottingham Forest also come into this game in high spirits having forced a replay with Premiership outfit Birmingham in their FA Cup encounter last weekend after coming away with a 0-0 draw. Forest are currently in a 17 game unbeaten streak, their last defeat coming way back on the 22nd September in the League Cup when going down 0-1 to Blackburn Rovers.

West Brom Team News

Joe Mattock looks the only casualty for Baggies boss Di Mateo as he continues to suffer from a back problem. Ishmael Miller, who has been out recovering from a knee problem looks likely to return to the side and be involved in tonights game.

Nottingham Forest Team News

Nicky Shorey returns back to the starting lineup today having missed last weekend's FA Cup 0-0-0 draw against Birmingham. French Midfield playmaker, Guy Moussi is also expected to be in tonights starting lineup having been out for several weeks with an ankle injury.

Summary

Hopefully the weather will keep at bay and this game will go ahead. Both teams will no doubt enter this game in the hope of securing all 3pts and both teams are currently in good form. For me Nottingham Forest look to have a stronger side on paper and with them currently protecting a 17 game unbeaten run in all competitions, they could prove too strong for West Brom the longer the game goes on.

Our recommended tip on this game is to take Nottingham Forest on the Asian Handicap +0.5 at odds of 1.98 from Ladbrokes.
