Liverpool welcome Dutch Champions PSV Eindhoven to Anfield later today for this 2nd Group D Champions League fixture, which can be viewed Live on Sky Sports.

Liverpool have excelled in this Tournament over the years and have now won this coveted Trophy five times in their clubs history. They have started this Season very well and opened up their Champions League account in their first game in typical Liverpool fashion by beating Marseille 1-2 away from home and a victory tonight would no doubt put them in a great position to qualify through to next stage of this tournament.

PSV had a rough start to their Champions League campaign as they came unstuck against Spain's Atletico Madrid 0-3 at home and they will be fully aware that if they are to have any chance of progressing through to the next stage of this tournament they will need to take away at least point from tonights game.

This is PSV's 12th consecutive UEFA Champions League appearance, and their third in a row as Holland's lone representatives, but having lost the likes of Heurelho Gomes and Jefferson Farfán in the summer the team is finding things a lot more difficult this year and will have their work cut out for them to obtain a result against Liverpool tonight.

The Reds were without midfielders Javier Mascherano and Yossi Benayoun for the victory at Everton, but both have returned to fitness and the former is expected to start against PSV.

Robbie Keane will continue to attempt to end a 10-game streak without opening his account since a summer move from Tottenham alongside Fernando Torres in attack.

But Benitez who is promising not to get carried away by a positive start to the campaign is without full back Philipp Degen, who is sidelined with the rib injury he sustained against Crewe in the Carling Cup.

PSV ace Carlos Salcido has admitted that he and his team-mates will need to be at their best if they are to succeed against Liverpool.

But their cause will not be helped following the news that Holland midfielder Ibrahim Afellay remains sidelined with a bruised toe.

Former Liverpool defender Jan Kromkamp is likely to be handed a start by Stevens - who was not in charge the last time the two clubs met and ex Manchester City goalkeeper Andreas Isaksson should also start.

Class! thats basicly what this boils down to in my opinion. I would fully expect PSV to play every man behind the ball later tonight and try to obtain a vital point, but although this may work at first, Liverpool will surely find a way through at some stage and open the scoring.

This will then force the Dutch Champions to come out and try to find an equaliser and this will no doubt free up the space for Liverpool to take control of the game, easy home win for me.
