Portugal go up against last year's finalist Chile in this first game from Group B later this evening, which can be seen Live on British Eurosport with a 17:30pm Kick Off UK time.

Portugal did not play in this tournament last year, but they did participate in 2007 and came through their Group stage undefeated. However they then lost to hosts France 1-0 in the Semi Finals and then lost the third place play-off against Holland on Penalties.

So they will certainly be wanting to forget memories of that year when they take to the field tonight against a tough Chile side who as previously mentioned made it to the Final last year and were unluckly losers to Italy 1-0.

Chile absoloutely cruised through their Group stage last year remaining unbeaten and giving hosts France a solid 5-3 beating along the way and if they have as much talent in their side today than they did last year then they will certainly take all the beating again today.

The bookies have Portugal as quite warm favourites going into this match and the best price currently available for a Portugal win is 2.10 at William Hill Bookmakers.

Personaly i'd rather take Chile on the Asian Handicap at Level Ball and this is currently best price at Sportingbet Bookmakers who have this as a very big 2.50 which in my opinion screams the word Value!
