Chelsea play host to Porto later today in this Group D, Champions League Fixture which can be seen Live on Sky Sports with a 7:45pm BST Kick Off Time.

Chelsea have had a perfect start to their Season so far in the Premiership, although have struggled to put the ball away as was seen last weekend, when it took them until deep into stoppage time to finaly find the winner against Burnley. They will certainly have to take their chances tonight against Porto who have always been an extremely tough team to beat in this competition.

Porto themselves have also had a very good start to their domestic Season and remain unbeaten in the 4 matches played so far. They will be quietly confident of being able to cause an upset at Stamford Bridge tonight.

Chelsea Team News

Ferreira and Deco are both still out injured and will not take any part into tonights game. Drogba and Bosingwa will also both be missing due to suspensions. Anelka looks like leading the attack up front on his own with support from the likes of Lampard and Ballack from midfield.

Porto Team News

Despite losing two of their influential players in the Summer transfer window, Porto Manager Jesualdo Ferreira is still confident his side can mix it up with Chelsea tonight. Cristian Rodriguez has given the Portuguese side a boost by recovering from injury and being passed fit to play tonight.

Summary

Chelsea have been what many call the nearly men in this competition over the last couple of years, as they have been beaten on penalties by Manchester United and then dumped out last Season by a late strike from Barcelona's Andres Iniesta.

Porto have also done well in this competition over the years and many still remember when the famous Jose Mourinho guided them to victory back in 2004 in their emphatic 3-0 win over Monaco in the Final.

All being said and done this game looks certain to be a very exciting game to look forward too and there should certainly be a few Yellow Cards handed out as both teams like a crunching tackle or two.

Chelsea should just edge this, but Porto are certainly capable of leaving with at least a point and its a difficult one to call. However, Anelka hasn't really got going yet this Season in my opinion and has the perfect opportunity tonight to do so and it is for this reason that I believe Chelsea will win this game by the odd goal.
