Vijay Singh leads the points table in the Fedex Cup and he knows a win will see him as the Fedex Cup champion. He's been playing some solid golf in recent weeks and having been a previous winner here he looks to have every chance this week.

Phil Mickelson enjoyed a decent week at Valhalla last week as the US regained the Ryder Cup. His tour form has been indifferent recently but the confidence gained from last week could be the catalyst to a good week this week.

Jim Furyk holed the winning putt last week and comes into this event fourth in the Fedex Cup standings. A win for the solid American will give him the cup too. Furyk was a runner up here two years ago and has been ultra consistent all season and is expected to be right in the mix on Sunday.

Camillo Villegas is 2nd in the playoff standings coming into this week and a big week from the flamboyant Colombian could see him crowned the Fedex Cup champion. He won the BMW Championship and comes in here in good form and another good week is expected.

Anthony Kim was sensational on Sunday for USA in his singles match against Sergio Garcia. The young American is another high up in the Fedex standings and a good week for him could be enough to land the crown. Kim's won twice on tour this year and has the game to go close again here.

Sergio Garcia was poor by his high standards last week at Valhalla but he comes into this event 3rd in the Fedex Cup standings so a win here would see him win the cup. Sergio won the Players Championship earlier in the season and has been in good form as the PGA season has reached its close and is another likely to be in the mix come Sunday.

Hunter Mahan was the star for the Americans last week going unbeaten in his 5 matches. He comes here in good form and has the game which should suit this course. He showed last week how solid he is with the short stick and needing a win to have any chance of the Fedex Cup, Mahan should be close this week.

Justin Leonard partnered Mahan so well last week and showed another display of steady, solid golf. He comes into this event 7th in the Fedex Cup standings so certainly isn't without a chance of winning that. He's as straight as they come off the tee and the Texan has the game to go very close this week.
