The Aintree Hurdle is part of the Grand National meeting which is held at Aintree racecourse in early April, it is a Grade 1 National Hunt hurdle race for horses of four years of age and above.
Race distance is two miles four furlongs and there is eleven hurdles to be jumped in the race, it is often contested by horses that ran in the Champion Hurdle at Cheltenham.
