Ascot racecourse plays host to a fantastic three days of top notch racing this September with what some regard as the finest weekend of racing in the whole calendar. This is the weekend that saw Frankie Dettori acheive seven victories, perhaps the greatest racing achievement ever.
Plenty of showcase races in this festival with the highlight of the whole meeting being the Group One Queen Elizabeth II Stakes which will crown the best miler in Europe, there is of course lots more on offer including the the Group One Meon Valley Stud Fillies' Mile and for the best two year olds they have the Watership Down Stud Sales race and the Juddmonte Royal Lodge Stakes.
