Last Ran: 24th April 2010
The Bet365 Gold Cup is one of the last jump races in the British racing calendar, and is run over a distance of 3 miles 5½ furlongs.
It takes place at Sandown racecourse, on the only "mixed" racing day of the season - there are both flat and national hunt races on the card.
The race used to be known as the Whitbread Gold Cup, and more recently the Betfred Gold Cup - and is a high class handicap, that's been won by many quality horses.
