The Classic Novices Hurdle race is held at Cheltenham racecourse on Festival Trials day in January, making it one of the best jumps meetings of the year, after the Festival that is.
The race is a Grade 2 and is open to horses of four years of age and above. Race distance is two miles four half furlongs, it is also known as the Ballymore Properties Novices Hurdle.
