The Totescoop6 Elite Hurdle Race is run at Wincanton racecourse, a grade two National Hunt limited handicap race, open to horses of four years of age and above.
It is a race for the two milers, with the majority of winners falling betwen the ages of four and seven years old. Not a good race for the favourites but one for the second favourites with three winning here in the past five years.
The partnership of jockey DC Costello and trainer J Quinn have won twice in 2006 and 2007.
