The Fillies Mile, as the name suggests this race is for two year old fillies and has a running distance of 1 mile. Up untill 1990 it was a group 2 race but was upgraded to group 1.
Held at the beautiful Ascot racecourse it is always a favourite with people who like a bet. In 2005 the race was held at Newmarket due to developments at Ascot.
