The Prix du Jockey Club is the French equivalent of England's Epsom Derby, it is run at Chantilly Racecourse in June.
It is a group one flat horse race that is open to three year old horses and is one of four classic races for the French racing season.
The racing distance is one mile two and a half furlongs and just like the English Derby it is always contested by the very best three year olds making for a very busy time for the bookmakers.
