Following the abandonment of York's four-day Ebor meeting, the Gimcrack Stakes will this year be held at Newbury racecourse.
The Gimcrack Stakes is part of the Ebor Festival which is held at York in August, it is a Group 2 flat horse race and is open to colts and geldings of two years of age.
Race distance is six furlongs, it is often contested by the best juveniles around all looking to become Group 1 superstars.
Quite difficult to pick the winner with the young horses, experienced punters look at present form for clues and any horse from the Aiden O'Brien is likely to be popular here.
