The Godolphin mile kicks off a great day of racing on Dubai World Cup day at Nad al Sheba in Dubai.
A purse of $1 million attracts horses from all corners of the globe to fight it out over one mile which covers one turn of the main track.
The race used to be known as the Nad Al Sheba Mile, it became part of the Dubai World Cup meeting in 1996.
