Following the abandonment of York's four-day Ebor meeting, the Great Voltigeur Stakes will this year be held at Goodwood racecourse.
The Great Voltigeur Stakes is part of the Ebor Festival at York in August, it is a Group 2 flat race for three year old colts and geldings.
Race distance is one mile three furlongs,it has become a trial for the St Leger which is run in September and indeed it has produced quite a few winners of the St Leger and you will often find the winner here heading the betting for the classic.
