Irish 1,000 Guineas

The Irish 1000 Guineas is run at the Curragh racecourse in May, it is a race which always attracts plenty of betting activity and is contested by some of the top three-year-old thoroughbred fillies of the day.

Racing distance is one mile, it is a Group 1 flat horse race and is the Irish equivalent to the English 1,000 Guineas infact in 2007 Finsceal Beo won both races so it could pay to look at the earlier 1,000 Guineas and also the French 1000 guineas when looking for the winner here.
