The Irish Oaks is a 1m 4f flat race for three year old fillies run in early July at the Curragh racecourse.

It normally contains several of the horses from the English Oaks at Epsom as many trainers have problems preparing their horses for May and therefore, the Irish equivalent is seen as a kind of consolation.
