The Jersey Stakes is part of the Royal Ascot meeting in June, it is a Group 3 race with a racing distance of one mile and is contested by horses that have yet to win at Group 1 or 2.
The race is only open to three year olds so each horse gets just the one chance to win here, it is also usually contested by a large field making it difficult to predict the winner so many punters like to bet on the each way market rather than the win only market.
