The Long Walk Hurdle is a 3 miles 1½ furlongs grade 1 National Hunt Race race which is ran at Ascot racecourse.The four year old horses have to tackle fourteen hurdles in this regular feature of the Christmas meeting.
It is always well supported and many of the top outstanding hurdlers have won this race, one in particular Baracouda who went on to win the race four times in all.
Betting turnover is massive at this event and of course this race in particular is always popular with punters who love to watch the best jumps horses come galloping home.
It is quite hard to pick the winner of this race, many of the entrants are the best of the best, however the odds available are usually quite good value even on the front runners so it is well worth doing a little research.
