Nassau Stakes

The Nassau Stakes is part of the Glorious Goodwood meeting which is held at Goodwood racecourse, one of the most beautiful racecourses in the world, every year for five days, racing fans gather together to witness some world class horse racing.

It is a Group 1 race for three-year-olds and above fillies and mares, run over 1 mile 1 furlong,it was given Group 1 status in 1999.

The race is the second richest of the whole festival and is considered to be one of the principal races of the season for the mares and fillies.
