The Pertemps Final Handicap Hurdle is the last race of day three of the festival held at Cheltenham in March.
Race distance is three miles and is open to horses of five years of age and above that have qualified to enter.
A hot betting event especially by the Irish, the favourites have a poor record of winning here, infact most of the winners have come horses that have gone off at double figure prices.
A 50/1 winner here in 2006 should help you not be afraid to look at some of the outsiders.
Although the race is open to five year olds, there has only been one to win, most winners are aged around seven.
