The Peterborough Chase is held at Huntingdon racecourse. It is a grade 2 National Hunt chase for five year old horses and above. The running distance is two miles four and a half furlongs.
It is a very prestigious event and is Huntingdons main race of the year, the day itself is a popular one with six other competitive races taking place.
Many famous horses have taken part and won this race including the publics favourite Best Mate. The Peterborough Chase has seen many thrillers.The fences are tough and only the best steeplechasers will manage the course, look for horses that have proven jumping ability and stamina.
