The Punchestown Guinness Gold Cup is run at Punchestown racecourse and is the highlight of the Punchestown Festival which is in April it offers a massive €250,000 in prize money.
Racing distance is three miles one furlong and is contested by the top stars from Ireland and the UK.
The race is open to horses of five years of age and above and is a massive betting event often with record betting figures.
To help pick the winner here look to which horses ran well in the Cheltenham Gold Cup as the race is often contested by those that ran there, infact in 2005 Kicking King went on to win here after Cheltenham.
