The Royal & Sun Alliance Chase is part of the Cheltenham Festival which is in March, it is open to five year old novice horses and above.
Racing distance is three miles half a furlong with nineteen fences, the grueling trip will be the biggest challenge that the young novices will have ever faced.
Considered a steping stone to races like the Gold Cup only the best up and comming chasers will manage to get round here.
Seven year olds have a good record in this race and only two favourites have gone on to win in the past thirteen years.
