The Sagaro Stakes is run at Ascot racecourse, it is a flat race with a running distance of two miles.
It has a history going back to 1984 and is named after the horse Sagaro which won the Ascot Gold Cup three times.
Although open to horses of four years of age, the winner can usually be found in the older age bracket with only one four year old having won here in the last ten renewals.
