The Sefton Novice Hurdle is part of the Grand National meeting held at Aintree racecourse in early April, it is a Grade 1 National Hunt hurdle race and is open to horses of four years of age and above.
Race distance is three miles and is contested by the best chase stayers for the future and has become one of the most prestigious three-mile novice hurdle race of the season.
