The Sefton Stakes forms part of the Craven meeting at Newmarket racecourse in April, the meeting is Newmarket's first of the season and virtually guarantees top quality racing for the whole two days.
The race is a Group three flat race which is open to horses of four years of age and above. Race distance is one mile, it is run on the Rowley Mile course and has a history dating back to 1971.
