The Steward's Cup is part of the Glorious Goodwood meeting held at Goodwood racecourse, it is one of the best handicap races of the season. Traditionally it was run on Tuesday (the opening day of the meeting) but it was moved to Saturday in the early 1990s.
The Steward's Cup is now regarded as one of the biggest sprint handicap races in Europe. and is for three-year-olds and above, and is run over the straight six furlong course at Goodwood.
