Superlative Stakes

The Superlative Stakes are run on the July course at Newmarket racecourse in July, it is a Group 2 flat race that has a race distance of seven furlongs.

Open to horses of two years of age, it is a competitive race for the juveniles with some well-regarded maiden winners contesting the event.

Upgraded to Group 2 in 2006 it is a race popular with punters for pointers on which horses are likely to make the grade as a three year old.
