The Topham Handicap Chase is run over two miles five furlongs and is part of the Grand National meeting held at Aintree racecourse in early April.
Open to horses of five years and upwards, it is usually a large field with only horses of the highest class winning here, it is the equivalent to the Ryanair Chase which is part of the Cheltenham Festival.
