Mille Chief goes to Kempton on Saturday to put his Cheltenham credentials on the line in the Adonis Juvenile Novice Hurdle.
This four year old is well fancied to lift the Triumph Hurdle Crown in March after recent wins here at Kempton and Huntingdon last time out in January. Saturday will be his final prep race and also his toughest task to date as he steps up in class.
Nicky Henderson runs Soldatino while Paul Nicholls has Toubab a French flat performer who won his debut over hurdles in France before joining Nicholls and has since had the one run taking fifth slot at Taunton at the begining of February.
Ultimate scored on his hurdling debut back in November at Huntingdon, went on to take fourth slot at Cheltenham after losing a shoe and was last seen at Musselburgh at the begining of the month running a strong race but in the end he had to settle for second best. He was later found to have lost a shoe again.
