The 2008 Breeders Cup Mile looks like it could be one for the European horses with Goldikova going to post as the bookies favourite. She arrives in the US on top form with a string of three wins behind her, she knows her mile and has won in first class company, difficult to see past her here.
Aiden O' Brien pins his hopes on US Ranger after a disappointing campaign over sprint distances, he hasnt had a win since September 2007 so he steps back up again here and he will need to give everything he has got if he is to shine.
There dosent look to be any real threat to Goldikova here, her trainer Freddie Head has a lot of belief in her saying she is a very easy filly with lots of speed, if she does go on to win Head will become the first person to become a Breeders Cup winning jockey and go on to train the winner of a Breeders Cup race.
