Aiden O'Briens big gun in the Breeders Cup Turf is Soldier Of Fortune who on his last outing in the Arc came third in a dead heat. He has had some terrific wins including the 2007 Irish Derby, and this years Coronation Cup he now bids to win here on his US debut. He hasnt had the most strenuous of seasons and is a class act that has a great chance especially if the ground is good. If you are looking to back just one European Horse at this years Breeders Cup meeting then you could do much worse than pick Soldier Of Fortune.

Conduit, as the odds suggest is probably Soldier Of Fortunes bigest threat, he is trained by Sir Michael Stout and last time out won the St Leger with a cracking performance. It was thought he would not run again this season so one can only presume that he continues to impress at home.

Eagle Mountain deserves his chance here, he arrives here in great form after a win at Newmarket at the begining of the month under his new trainer Mike De Kock, it will be interesting to see how this potentially classy horse performs here.

Better Talk Now and Red Rocks continue thier rivalry, Better Talk Now won this race in 2004 and was second behind Red Rocks in 2006, he is still looking for his first win this year however and is the oldest contender at nine years.

Red Rocks was third last year, he recently won both Curlin and Better Talk Now at Belmont Park, and could well go on to deliver here although he will have to be top notch to get past Soldier Of Fortune.
