Marcus Tregoning rests his hopes on his very smart prospect Taameer in the 2009 Bet365 Classic Trial on Friday.
He won at Newbury in September where he showed there was a lot to like about him, he went on to runner up in the Autumn Stakes at Ascot losing only by a length and a half. He will be all the better for this experience and looks like he has bags of potential.
Aidan O'Brien has Malibu Bay who has had just the one run where he scored at Naas, if trainer stats are anything to go by you might fancy Big Bound, his trainer John Gosden has a great record for producing the winner here with five winners since 1992, this horse has also won over this distance before.
Above Average, Mishrif and Sir Michael Stoute's Saptapadi complete the field.
