Mick Channon's Youmzain 9/4 goes to post as the hot fancied favourite in the 2009 Coronation Cup, this six year old has a habit of arriving home just short of the mark with runner up slots in this race last year, and the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe for the last two runnings.

He arrives here after a trip to Dubai where he ran in the Sheema Classic taking fourth slot, this was his third attempt in this race, he came third in 2007 and fifth in 2008. He is reported to be very well, he deserves to go off as favourite here.

Look Here 9/2 aims for glory, this four year old ran the race of her short life last year to win the Oaks, she is trained by Ralph Beckett and was last seen taking third slot in the St Leger in September. Although bred to stay there was doubts about how she handled the trip at Doncaster, the distance here should suit and having already proved herself at this track it looks an ideal race for her.

Ask, 5/1 trained by Sir Michael Stoute reappeared in May to score in the Yorkshire Cup, this six year old won his return to work debut last year before going on to disapoint somewhat for the rest of the season, time will tell whether he can continue his winning ways this season.

Aiden O' Brien has Frozen Fire 9/1 who won the Irish Derby in 2008, this four year old has yet to repoduce anything like the talent he showed there.

Other notable contenders include Casual Conquest who goes for Dermot Weld while Godolphin has Eastern Anthem.
