This years totescoop6 Elite Hurdle at Wincanton sees Champion Hurdle winner Katchit going to post in a suprise move after it was thought he would head to Cheltenham in December for his next outing. He didnt put up the best of shows last month at Kempton, his jumping wasnt up to scratch but this was his seasonal debut so one can only conclude that his campaign will get better and we will see the real Katchit emerge.

Blythe Knight could well run a good one here, also trained by J Quinn, this eight year old won the Diomed Stakes on the flat in June. It was thought that he wouldnt jump again after his success on the flat but conditions seem ideal for him which has swung the decision to run him over timber again.

Katchit and Blythe Knight have met here at Wincanton before in February this year, Katchit was the better horse on that day so it will be interesting to see the rivalry continue.

Other runners include Paul Nichols's Takeroc who hasnt been seen since April and the Nicky Henderson trained seven year old mare Chomba Womba who had a great season last year against her own sex.
