The 2009 Future Champions Novice Chase is run at Ayr on Saturday with just five going to post.
Evan Williams has a serious prospect in Deep Purple, this eight year old was last seen runner up at Aintree in the Manifesto Novices Chase, he did well to salvage something out of the race after making a serious blunder, from which he was lucky to recover. The track here should suit him much better and a good smooth run is expected from him.
Paul Nicholls has I'msingingtheblues who arrived home eighth in the Arkle at Cheltenham, but the track and ground here will probably suit better and Alan King has Turkish Surprise who looked full of promise early in his chasing career but has yet to show anything really special.
Tot O'Whiskey and Raysrock complete the field.
