Trainer Paul Nicholls has saddled two winners in recent years and sent off the favourite for four of the last five renewals. Nicholls has Andreas who won in 2007 but carries a burden this year, Poquelin who likes this track and Pasco who is improving in this years line up.
Nicky Henderson has the smart novice French Opera who came runner up at Newbury in January, he looks to have what it takes to give a good account of himself here.
