There has been a lot of specualtion over whether Sir Michael Stoute's Spanish Moon is the banker of Newbury in the Dubai Tennis Championships John Porter Stakes on Saturday.
Last seen arriving home runner up in the Dubai Sheema Classic, he lost nothing in defeat, certainly an improver that ran on strongly. He returns to action here on Saturday and if he can give as much as he did that day he could very well be the banker of the day.
Other notable entries include Centennial, trained by John Gosden, he won the 2008 Great Voltigeur Stakes, Royal And Regal who will be having his first run under Michael Jarvis, he is reported to have settled in well and Scintillo who won the Winter Derby at Lingfield in March.
