The Durkan New Homes Juvenile Hurdle is all about the up and coming three year old hurdlers and this year we have the Gordon Elliott trained Tharawaat as the favourite. He looks to be the one we will all have to watch after a terrific start this season. He was last seen at the end of November winning a Grade 3 at Fairyhouse, he faces a tough test here but on recent form he is capable of doing what is required.
Lethal Weapon is probably Tharawaats biggest challenge, unbeaten this season from two runs at Clonmel and Cork.
Mullins has Kings of Queens a winner last time out in November at Thurles and Drunken Sailor who was runner up to Tharawatt at Fairyhouse where he put up a decent challenge. He will be all the better for this and is a worthy consideration for a small each way bet.
