Ferdy Murphy narrowly missed out at Cheltenham when his charge Kalahari King had to settle for runner up slot in the Arkle, this eight year old ran a great race, he did nothing wrong and was just unlucky to have lost out that day.
Made In Taipan trained by Mullins was fourth in the Arkle, he ran a good one, did nothing wrong just got beat by better horses on the day.
Paul Nicholls has Tatenen who was a faller in the Arkle but must be forgiven, he is talented and if he arrives his normal best he could take all the beating here. Nick Williams has Cornas who came a credible seventh that day but could have gone better had he not got hampered by a faller.
Song Of Songs is an interesting prospect, he won his chasing debut in February and backed this up in March at Sandown, he has got to be one to watch.
