David Pipe's Lough Derg will bid to make it three years running on Sunday in the National Spirit Hurdle at Fontwell.
This popular ten year old has an army of fans after some great battles he has fought, but this season has shown him to be rather lacklustre. There will be plenty willing him to get back on track here.
Paul Nicholls saddles Qozak while Peter Bowen's Souffleur arrives here on the back of a win at Haydock last weekend, the Grade 2 Rendlesham Hurdle. This seven year old had been without a win since 2007 so connections will be hoping his return to form continues.
Alan King runs Trenchant who was last seen arriving home in nineth slot behind Beshabar at Sandown looking like it just was not his day while Nicky Henderson has the well fancied Afsoun.
Jonjo O'Neill's choice is Sway while Treaty Flyer and Golan Way complete the field.
