Saturday brings us the 2009 Pendil Novices Chase which is ran at Kempton racecourse, with a host of top notch entries we look set for a great race.

Paul Nicholls who has won here for the past three years has Herecomesthetruth who has a very interesting chase history, he has scored in four out of his five starts with just the one blemish at Cheltenham in November where after just losing the lead he ran out at the last. He has since made up for it and his last outing saw him win the Grade 1 Scilly Isles Chase at Sandown at the end of January. Had he not run out at Cheltenham he would be going off here as unbeaten over fences.

Alan King has Ouzbeck who won his first attempt over fences in May last year, he is a great performer with just two blemishes so far in his chasing career, unseating at Market Rasen in September and took a fall in his last outing the Paddy Power Gold Cup in November.

Nicky Henderson produced the winner here in 2004 and his charge this year is Au Courant who scored on his debut in December but was pulled up on his last outing at the end of January here at Kempton.
