Last Ran: 14th February 2009
The 2009 Grade 2 Sodexo Reynoldstown Novices Chase gets underway at Ascot on Saturday and we could be in for a great race with some interesting contenders.
Ballyfitz looks a smart prospect although can be a little hesitant in his jumping, he has scored twice at Cheltenham in October and November and his last outing also at Cheltenham saw him runner up.
Paul Nicholls has Breedsbreeze a real promising chaser who has an unbeaten record over fences and last scored in the Feltham Novices Chase. If he arrives in the same sort of form he should set a strong challenge.
Alan King lines up Turkish Surprise who came runner up in the Grade 2 Noel Novices Chase here in December but will need to up his game if he is to progress and to complete the line up we have Carruthers who looks a promising chaser having come runner up in his debut and then opened his account at Fakenham in January.
