The Grade 2 Albert Bartlett Novices Hurdle, registered as the River Don gets underway on Saturday at Doncaster racecourse.
Cape Tribulation goes for Malcolm Jefferson after scoring on his introduction to hurdles at Uttoxeter in November. He had been side lined for a while after suffering Ringworm but nevertheless looks to be in great shape.
Alan King has a duo of entries with Junior and Midnight Sail the former looking in good form after some recent runs and is definately worthy of consideration.
Nigel Twiston Davies has just the one runner, Diablo who on his last outing at Cheltenham disappointed to come last.Gullible Gordon looks interesting, trained by Paul Nicholls he arrives here on the back of a win at Taunton in December.
On Ragaln Road came a worthy runner up in the Grade 2 Winter Novices Hurdle in December at Sandown, the trip here should pose no problem, a good run is expected from this one.
