Ping Pong Sivola goes to post as the 2009 favourite for the Topham Chase, this Venetia Williams trained six year old came runner up in the Festival Plate at Cheltenham but she lost nothing in defeat looking very impressive, she deserves to take her chance here and could well go one better.
Paul Nicholls has Nozac who has been alloted top weight, Gwanako who won here last year and fifth in the Ryan air Chase at Cheltenham last time out, Mr Pointment who won the Becher Chase in 2007 and New Little Bric winner of the totesport.com Gold Cup Chase last time out.
Irish Raptor came runner up here last year to Gwanako, this ten year old trained by Nigel Twiston Davis bids to make ammends after a disappointing Cheltenham to come tenth in the Kim Muir Challenge Cup.
