Last Ran: 6th February 2010
The Towton Novices Chase gets underway on Saturday with George Charlton's Knockara Beau looking to take on three over the three mile trip.
Not fazed by the competition Charlton is confident that his stable star will relish the challenge, with five starts over fences he has gone home with three wins and two runner up slots.
Ian Williams's Weird Al could add some spice and may well get in the way of Knockara Beau who he got the better of at Cheltenham in November so will be bidding for more of the same.
Howard Johnson runs Calin Royal while Mumbles Head who will go for Peter Bowen won his chasing debut in November and has since taken runner up slot at Newcastle completes the field.
