Swiss Roger Federer begins his bid for gold at Beijing with a first round draw against Russian Dmitry Tursunov. Federer is set to lose his No.1 spot to Spaniard Nadal on August 18th. Nadal is favourite for gold here and Federer will be looking for revenge by storming through the rounds to hopefully entertain us with yet another thrilling final from the top 2 in the world.

On paper this should be an easy match for Federer although Tursunov can be a very dangerous opponent with a great serve and the ability to hit the ball hard. As we know nothing is guaranteed in tennis so let the games begin!
