Sports » Online Golf Betting
The array of golf bets now available is quite staggering and as well as the usual win market you can bet on top 10 finish, match bets (this means two golfers get paired together and you bet which one will beat the other), group bets which is the same as match bets only with more players perhaps 5 or 6, winning margin bets which is betting how many strokes the winner will win by, to miss the cut, betting in running which is placing your bet after the match has started, even up to the last few holes!
The main PGA tennis tour consists of weekly events, along with four so called Major events. Click the links below to see more information on each of them, and to see betting odds from the major bookmakers.

Golf Betting Guide
As explained above, there are many different types of bets available for a given golf tournament. We'll explain a few here.
- To Win Outright
Self explanatory bet, where your golfer must win the event (in a playoff if necassary). You can also back a golfer to finish each-way, in which case you need your golfer to finish in the Top 4 (sometimes firms will offer specials where upto the Top 6 counts as each way). - Place Only (or Top 5/Top 1-0 finish)
Your golfer must place inside the Top 5 (sometimes betting firms will offer 6 places). Ties are acceptable - eg. if your golfer finishes T5 it's a winner. - Two/Three Ball Betting
Golfers will play their rounds in groups of two or three - and you must pick the golfer to shoot the lowest score in his/her group. - Top American/European/Australasian/Asian/Rest of World
Another self explanatory bet, where you can back a golfer to finish the highest from his/her continent. You can also place each-way bets on this market. - Hole in One
Some bookmakers will offer odds on a Hole-in-one occuring during a tournament. - Group Betting
Bookmakers will often group golfers of a similar ability, for example the six best players in the World - and you have to pick the golfer finishing in the best position from this group. - To Make/Miss the Cut
You can bet on a golfer to make or miss the cut. This bet is most popular in the major events, where good golfers can often miss the cut.
